Now those are flying cities... as opposed to the flying circles with houses on them they call Academy.

Academy is not that bad.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

He may not be a 'Great Fantacy Artist' yet - but I think my son has some potential. I found this 'doodle' of his that he scanned on my computer to send to his HeroScape group.

Of course, great drawing skills alone, do not make anyone automatically an artist.

Most of these fantasy "artworks" are a load of kitsch.
Veldryn 15:15 And Vel found a dirty old jawbone of a walrus and put forth his hand, and took it, and in his unholy rage, he slew thirty four thousand men and children therewith.

Currently, my son is only 16. He'll be 17 in late October. He attends an Art oriented school to learn more about developing his talents and hopefully he'll deside what he wants to do with it later on before I get stuck paying for a college Art Degree just so he can figure out that he wants to do something else. I'm still trying to talk him into studying something more practical and doing the art 'on the side'. I've never been really keen on raising a 'starving artist' as that's what most of them become, regardless of tallent. Right now, he wants to be a cartoon pencilist. He's got a friend on line who is an inker and colorist. They want to work together on some projects for the Hero Scape boards. I think it's a good idea for him to get the experiance working with another artist on a project BEFORE there is money involved.
