I liked that show called Connexions (or something like that) in which the guy would start talking about colonialism and by various odd links would end the show by talking about rubber and golf balls.

And randomly: the 2nd semester has started... as organized as ever... Gee, I so love this uni...

I assume you mean eating raw potatoes, but am uncertain about the cheese...

It does impact your health negatively, but I reckon you are still fit to play a game of Heroes? :-D

But then you can stay indoors and do nothing but take care of yourself, at least? I don't mind being a little under the weather like that, provided I'm not so ill it becomes overly uncomfortable. It all comes down to a simple equation; whether the comfort you gain from being ill (home from work etc.) is actually weighing up for the uncomfort of being ill.

Mostly I don't get sick actually. Just to a minor degree and then if I have abad day I might skip work cause I feel like I've deserved it. So for me the deal is: How much would I like a day at home versus how guilty am I gonna feel about telling lies :D

I'm pretty conscientious about that; if I stay home, somebody else will have to take my place and work when they weren't supposed to, and that's not really fair on them, I feel. I tend to always try to switch with somebody or something if I want a day off. Which reminds me, I can't work next Friday... I'll be out of town. Better find somebody who will trade a day.

School was much easier than life. Often I wish to be only 17-18, to be in 11th grade.
Funny, how people only recognize the value of things only after it becomes part of their past.

That's my reasoning :D And if something went wrong you know better for next time. Unless of course in some devastating situations..
