It's unfortunate for this man to have his foot amputated. But while he still had it he didn't take good care of the place either. I'm just making sure that I won't have to pay for any of the work that needs to be done

And the thing is, most flats don't require a lot of maintenance either. It's not like you have to do painting and stopping up holes in the walls and doing the electrics... All that's needed is a bit of cleaning once in a while, and actually throwing the garbage in the bin rather than on the sitting-room floor.

I tend to hang a lot of art and whatnot on my walls so I may need to putty the holes and paint before I move out
But I've painted many many times now and really am getting quite effective with it.

I believe that the laws (Norwegian ones, and I might need support/correction from Ethric here) say that such things as a nail in a wall does not constitute a significant detrimental change to a flat. Such things are usually limited to things that actually lower the attractivity or value of the property.

@Kalah: What were you thinking?
On second thought, leave it in the realm of imagination.

Okay. Imagination.
*Imagining a peaceful hen house. Suddenly, there's a disturbance within. Rapid flapping, along with other noises can be heard. Scene changes to a couple orangutans...*
There. My imagination.
The orangutan part is only there because of a conversation I was involved in last night.

This time my mind went on an...interesting tangent.
Better not to post what I thought about.

A bit, I added search function. And from past, what wasn't too much noticeable, here's better permalink function (drag'nd'drop that miniicon next to 'Posted: Tue Feb 12, 2008 1:20 am') and quick way to access Active Topics. (click on the pair of colons next to search field)ScarlettP wrote:Oh! New look for the forum... or am I just slow to notice?
Enjoy!
PS Of course, I added also the 'Jump To'.
