Quite a random thought, that.

Some annoying telemarketers left silly messages on my voicemail recently. "Hello, hello, is anybody there, heeeeellooooo?" they said, not having heard the recording saying we were not available. Today I was home when they called, so as the lady tried to read her text I did the same trick: "Hello... hello... heeeeellooooo?" and hung up. That was fun, but I need a more elaborate prank for the next time they call.

If you have time, merely stringing them along by acting interested and wasting their time can be good fun.

1) Put your phone down your pants and let go a huge fart.

2) Pretend to be on the can and give away a huge grunting sound whilst dropping something into the bowl to make them hear the splash. Then go: "ooh, that felt good!"

3) Pretend to be a phone salesman and ask if they would like to sample some of your product. If they stay on the line, you can rant on and on about how good the product is. Don't let them get a word in edgewise.

4) Scream in pain repeatedly as you pretend to be plucking your hosehairs.

5) If the caller is female, pretend her voice makes you horny.

6) If the caller is male, pretend his voice makes you horny.

How's that? :)

I'm tired too... for once I've been doing some actual work... :tired: better hop into bed; meetings tomorrow and then there's the annual referee's convention.

Going back to the Telephone solicitors...

There is a comedian who (allegedly) recorded a call from a solicitor in which he pretened that that he was a police officer answering the phone at the scene of a brutal murder. He then went on to question the solicitor about how he knew the dead man. When did they meet? You did know that he was a flaming homosexual? Were you his gay lover? If so, that's ok, I just need to know. ...

It's pretty funny. If I knew the name of the comedian, I could look it up for you on YouTube or something.

Could have been worse :) You did not even damage the alley.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Finished yesterday Mechwarriors 3. In spite of gamespot guide, missions were easy and you are nowhere of need of heavy mech with full arrays of weapons (like says description for last but one mission). I did first half of the game with default Bushwacker and rest with Madcat, which is worthy and its bigger succesor.

As AI cannot utilize any speed gains, I dubbed my lancmates to walking fortress. Sunder, Anihilator and Thor execution group. :D Strategy: "Confuse enemies by running behind them and ocassional shoot. Watch them how they are heavily shooting everywhere next to you, clumsy moving. Wait until your lancemates arrive and when they change focus use your time."

Nah, these few final mission were really easier than I expected. Having mounted only Gauss Rifle, one medium pulse laser, long rackets 15 and some enhancing electronics I walked by virtually without scar... by last two final missions. With use of snipping, running and some rocketry distractors.
"We made it!"

I used to think 1000 metres was an insurmountable challenge... now I swim it casually and have strength left after. B-)
