Voted no, and I'm not planning on getting it any time soon.

Situation here in Denmark is pretty much the same as in Norway - and like Kalah, I don't feel like using a lot of money, on something that's at best only a bit better than a regular and much cheaper tube TV.

HDTV is digital TV with a 9x4 aspect ratio. There are also widescreen analog sets, often rear projection units, but real HDTV is digital.

the actual definition of HDTV is as follows

While a number of high-definition television standards have been proposed or implemented on a limited basis, the current HDTV standards are defined as 1080 active interlaced or progressive lines, or 720 progressive lines, using a 16 : 9 aspect ratio in ITU-R BT.709. The term "high-definition" can refer to the resolution specifications themselves, or to media capable of similar sharpness such as movie film.
