Now, who can tell me what's funny about DL's new signature?

I didn't spot the rules specifying it, but must the new word start with the end of the last, with the letters in the same order?

So while cape->apes is good, can you also do cape->papercup?

It's not clearly stated in the rules, but its implied in the game, that you must use them in same order.

When "applying" for permission to start the game DL said (in RT rules and reg):
Someone says a word, then another person has to say a word that starts with the last two letters of the previous word.Words cannot repeat, and personal names arent allowed.

How about adding words, like if Urban there had said Bingohall to get credit for using the full word? Is that allowed?

My interpretation would be that that is ok, as long as the word is a single word.

Edit: I believe Bingo Hall is two words though, least according to online dictionary

btw, your "bingo" wasn't correct. You have to start with the ending letters of my word - thus you can't add the B in front of "ingo". You should have started with either "go", "ngo", "ingo" or "dingo" - and then add at least one letter in the end.

otherwise adding something in end is okay I think - just not plurals (game -> games).

Where does it say that in the rules? I didn't see it... I want a clarification here, an edit to the first post with the rules :| Or someone to point me to what I missed there.

"1)You need to create a word that consists of at least two last letters of the previous word" Nothing about it having to start with the two last letters, only that it must consist of at least the last two.

We've been playing the start of the new word must contain at least the last two letters of the word. I don't think we've been playing that you can use the entire word, but DL will need to clairfy that one. How about you try again Ethric? The last valid word was Dingo.

On a tangent, I like the Horsemen avatar. That game looked so sweet. The picture of Famine was great.

It seems DL spelled out a lot of rules, without putting in some of the most important ones :|

But his post in "RT Rules and Reg" as mentioned above, and a description of the game on Wikipedia helps a lot. I do think however, that he should clarify the rules in the first post.

Quite the opposite, the rules state 1 extra point if you use the whole word. Which does strike me as a bit unfortunate, as it can lead to arguments where some us add a word to another and claim it as valid. There could be some dodgy ones there.

Making rules is no easy task, you know ;) I'm mostly shocked that you guys managed to plod on under such poorly designed rules. But I've studied law for 5 years now (1 to go), so am used to picking rules apart to see what's inside :D

Cool. I'm studying it in the United States. 5 more terms to go (1.5 years). What system does Norway follow?

Maybe you should restart the game if you get the chance DL.

Umm... the metric system? :| Dunno, what are the options? I get a masters degree if that's what you mean.

And yes, better rules, new round, please ;)

My apologies. I meant what legal system or framework do you follow? The US, for example, follows English common law, the Constitution, and what have you.

Maybe I'll pick a new word, because I did start the last round.
