The 'I don't wanna learn' Thread

Unread postby [T]osHiro » 08 Jul 2006, 01:42

Like 'Music you like' and 'Music you hate', in conjunction with the 'I'm learning' thread, let's see what kind of things the Round Table members will add to their list of 'I don't wanna learn...' :D

I'll do the opening: I don't want to learn Accounting. Horrible subject, IMO...

Erm...I'd like to learn everything, but laziness is a powerful foe indeed.

However, one thing I certainly wouldn't rush to learn is advanced economics. Why? I'm not sure, but the whole thing stinks of people with anal-retentive disorders.
Hell has frozen over...

Oh, I love Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics - all the assorted Science subjects, in fact. There're preferences here and there of course, but they're lovely subjects on the whole.

What I don't like - Art. Terribly annoying subject, especially since I can't create anything beautiful! I don't really like Music too (though I definitely enjoy listening to it).

I'd have to say that I really wouldn't like to study economics. I have some friends who do, and they're treated with books like "The advanced art of percentages" :|

I used to really hate my religion classes :disagree: Who the hell needs to learn all about the different aspects of Buddhism?!! Not me. And to have to memorize all the terms for all the different higher levels and the exact order of how to be enlightened was soooo boring :snore:

Chemistry and math I like :) Less terms more working.
English and German classes were awsome too
But not religion :flame:

Any and all things they make you study at school & co.
I swear, those guys can make anything boring. It's even worse because some of the teachers/authors can't even speak romanian right...

Guys, I want to point out that this is not a 'I hate ??? subject' Thread. Come to think of it, maybe I'll create one. But this thread is about not wishing to learning something, and it can be beyond school subjects. Anything like knitting, dancing, snoring, or even Tae-Kwon-Do.... whatever!!! ;)

Aha, so you've got the same boring classes as well (life consideration is mostly religion, but they couldn't call it religionanymore since the school was no longer tied to a religion...)

Oh, and there's one more thing - I have a science profile which means I have physics, biology, chemestry and mathematics as my main classes. I really didn't care which profile I chose, but there was one I really didn't want, the economy profile. I'd prefer the art profile over the economy profile.

Well studying lithuanian literature is boring waste of time.
I didn't like art either. As for realigion, It was different this year.
All I did was hanging in celestialheavens and reading posts :devious:

I "study" economics too. Almost all the time I only speak with my classmates. :devious: And I get good grades without learning. I got 8 in , because my grades are mostly 10,10,10,9,2,10, :devious:

I also hate socialogical studies.

Well, well... 'I don't wanna learn...' topic?

about accounting: I never got any near to it, but it seems to be a lot of raw data to learn, not my style
I want to avoid law at most. A huge heap of text, and learning them by hart? again, not my style, I'll let it for lawyers and similar ppl

sciences are generally good, although I never gonna learn extensive lists of latin names of odd plants, I'm sticking to physics :)

Try studying the law and then talk to me about how bad it is to learn anything. Especially tax law, with books that give you questions with no answers, and having only one exam per class.

And yes, laziness is a horrible cross to carry.
