I like the Lithuanian song but what was people's problem at that show? All the buhing (damn, don't know how that's spelled :baby: ). That was so respectless and lame...
I just don't know why they hated Lithuania so much?
Perhaps they missed the intended humour in the lyrics.
I found the song boring and repetitive, but liked that it was different.
All songs are repetitive. I liked the music and the lyrics were fine. It was a catchy song but maybe not winning material.
I still don't get why people hated them. anyone know? Cause there were other songs that actually sucked so why that one?

That breakdance part in Danish song by "Johnny" was breathtaking, requires amazing talent. :-D B-)

Congrats Finland, it's awesome that Lordi won. Just a kick in the pants to the same-old same-old style of all the other songs.

I think Sweden got #4 or #5. I didn't care much. I think most Swedish people voted for Carola because of the nostalgia.

You need to listen to other music then just what they show on TV.

I don't watch that much TV. Besides music television is almost non-existing. MTV is all about stupid shows and as little music as possible.
But most songs are repetitive since there's almost always a chorus.. :D

You're quibbling over a single word :disagree:
I don't know what you listen too but it's probably repetitive too :devious:

I'm not specifically referring to one of the two. Most music (with lyrics) is repetitive. That's just my point :)

And it all depends on what you see as repetative, the ritm, the lyrics, the instrument sounds etc.

There are songs in which they just repeat the same word/s over and over, and in which they don't, but the rest of the songs is the same 3 chords over and over.

Exactly, they're both repetitive in some way...
thus: most songs are repetitive!

If I may, I'd like to add that there are a *lot* of songs that aren't repetitive. It's just a matter of choosing what to listen to. Basically all you have to do is veer off the mainstream and you'll stumbe upon a lot of songs that don't necessarily include a chorus, or if they do, it is miniscule. Though this varies very much between single songs even within an artist's discography.

EDIT: Misinformation.

I agree that the songs that do nothing but repeat three sentences for 3 minutes are quite frankly garbage. Then again, that's what you get if you listen to MTV.

This I found funny:

Congrats to Finns. I was really hoping that after the singer received that glass award, he would roar from the top of his lungs and throw the thing down on the stage. Would have been even more memorable Eurovision lol

She wasn't complaining. She just though most songs are repetative to a degree. But some are worse then others.

It's all about the small words, Linky ;)
Rap music is one of the kinds of music that often is not repetitive (of course a little) if we should mention something....real rap music - not like slim thug and beyoncé.. :D
Btw. Linky: hilarious link
