Since the Update the other Day, I had issues login in via the frontpage (checked remember me - nothing happens). Finally managed to login via forum. If I click the CH link, I'm returned to frontpage, but apparently get logged out.
I had a notification about 1 new PM, but my inbox is completely empty. Stripped of all previous messages as well

I also had trouble logging in until just recently (last 20 minutes or so). When I first noticed the problem, logging in just returned me to an empty login page and the forum showed read only. Later, I was able to login to the forum, but then the board said there were no forums available. If I logged out, the forums would show up again, but of course they were read only.

Forum fared well for one day after update, then it was hacked. Someone started to deleting accounts - some, so from yesterday my joy is to recovering them.

Passwords were not stolen, although it's a best practice to change them. So, recommended.

There were some more updates but it's not done yet, so I can just pray to stay it for a while until it will be all done.

I cannot recover PMs. True is, that there are four but there's no way for me to determine from whom and to, they were meant. Hopefully sender will send it again.

Ofcourse I can hope for the recent one to be re-sent, but knowing I lost all previous correspondance

As for the old ones I will recover them from a backup. Unrecoverable are only the new ones - after 8.9.

Hmm, looks like none of my old pm's were restored (no biggie) except for one outbox pm I sent long ago to someone who apparently couldn't trouble themselves read it

Er ... I was just checking my PMs and there is shows Anonymous where it should show 'Groovy'. Is that ok?

Err, Pol, I only have 2 old (2012, 2013) outbox messages. No inbox ones. And I still can't login via the frontpage.. :/

Upon checking yesterday changes one of tables reverted, re-loaded again. I hope that there's not some hidden verification mechanism in phpbb which could mark them as Anonymous again.

So, what happened? Is Groovy account affected or my PMs? Not a problem if they are deleted, by the way. Just concerned with that Anonymous name instead of Groovy's.

It looks fixed now.

Pol, Groovy needs help. He can login, but he cannot access or post anything on the boards, nor he can access his PMs. So he cannot even post here to describe his problem or tell you direct by PM. Can you do something for him, please *question mark*
