I'd say "longing". Is that sorrow or tragic?

From this selection it was indeed a question whether sorrow or tragic. Two things that came into my mind when listening to it where Doom 2 text screen music and Ironsand desert in MM8. Do not ask why.

Longing to me would feel more like a sorrow then a tragedy.

@Pitsu It has been forever since I heard doom 2 music, and I haven't really paid much attention to the MM8 ost. Now that you brought it up, I am going to have to listen to it.

Very nice, I think it might fit under a couple of different categories.

Sorrowful, tragic and dramatic, in fact, it could be the overarching theme for several variations much like the soundtrack to Homm 5.

I meant doom music and Ironsand environment (catastrophe in desert) not MM8 music.
