Heineken, eh? It's pretty much sold around here as well, called "beer of the rich", since it's not cheap as the other marks we have here. They also say it's strong, heavy, dunno actually. In Brazil, they drink some "soft beer", more like a fizzy drink, you see and the most popular are: Skol, Antarctica, Brahma, Bohemia (this one is even more soft than the others and the one I'm less nauseated about - ah, I don't like beer :D ), and they are about half of the price of that Heineken.

Funny this is...since no one cares about buying Johnny Walker, they do care about buying a cheaper beer. Crazy lot, these of my land. ;|

Yeah Panda, it's the beer for the rich :D, nah, it's not that expensive. I prefer Bavaria though, but Heineken is nice as well.

Well, here some pictures and 2 movies of the parks that lie around my house, including a Hydra pond:

Some of the park stuff that looks nice:

Heineken... that's just plain sad... Holland's a beer country and although Heineken comes from our soil, its still not very good beer. It's to... how do I put this right... soft. It's not bitter at all. Now Grolsch (another beer from Holland) that's the most bitter you can get actually. Not that that's really really good, but hey, it just shows, you can get all sorts of beers in Holland... And I'd surely pass on the Heineken :devious:
Grah!

Well I am and I don't like most American beers, but of the imports Heineken red star is among the cheapest available (which is one reason I buy it :devious: ), and I like the taste. I lived in Europe for almost 15 years and I prefer their brews to ours.

Yeah, Europenian beer rules. That's what you American people just can't do, you can't seem to make good beer. You do know how to start a war though  :devious:

Speaking of beers, I recently tried a Belgian brew called Gulden Draak. Very nice, a touch alcohol-y, but at 10.5% what do you expect? One bottle was enough to make my head float. :)

I think they must be playing hide-and-seek (and kill).

10,5% alcohol for a beer is a bit high, eh? I got dizzy drinking 12 cans of smirnoff ice (around 5%), so that beer is scary to me now - and there are those sort of drinks that they increase the "power of alcohol" somehow... :ill:

Come now we've only been around for just over 200 years, though we are a quick study, when comes to wars we are amateurs compared to you Europeans. B-)

This thing (don't really know what it is; I think it's supposed to hold a pole or something) is from the wreckage of the German WW2 battleship "Tirpitz". Picked it up along with some teak and stuff, brushed the barnacles off with a steel brush, and I'm keeping it as a souvernir.

Hard to get a sense of scale. How big is it?

Yeah, didn't think of that. It's about 18 cm end to end.
