*giggle*

I understand now! When I had my wisdom teeth taken out, I looked like a chipmunk with swollen cheeks for a week. I was wondering how you could look so happy if your mouth hurt.

I'm glad you're feeling better now.

Your sister's name is Florianópolis?

We expect to have 40 cm of snow today (that's 1.3 feet). I might post pictures later.

If you want that to be... :baby:

No, no. Her name is Juliana.

Your city looks wonderful, Panda. Oh, how I love sky scrapers!

That would be a good sight :) Here snow is so rare...

That's a lot of snow for one day. We got about 4 inches here yesterday and there were accidents all over the place. I'd take a picture, but I'm quite ashamed of this city; capitals should not be a disgrace.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

Some people and I don't like much. It starts to become itchy after a while, and filth just gather on it easily. We must be washing our face one hour at time and then, when I must shave it's so damn annoying and it hurts quite a little.

I like those too, but there are none here. :D The highest building in this city is the Majestic Hotel. Pic here:

But Floripa (the nick name for Florianópolis) has many interesting views. I'll show some of them:
This is downtown (although the moon is too big, and it only turns out yellow, not blue...):
Image

This is the main non-used bridge. Postcard, I mean (it's not wonderful...it's not even working, but those kind of bridges are not common in Brazil, so it's a postcard):
Image
This is the Conceição Lake, fancy, expensive and full of foreign tourists:
Image

This is the most known beach, FULL OF CHICKS:
Image

These are southern, colder beaches, (Morro das Pedras and Naufragados) peaceful:
Image
Image

This is the northern FULL OF RICH PEOPLE beach:
Image

This is the norther FULL OF EVERYONE ELSE beach:
Image

And very known places for tourists:
The biggest figueira on the globe at the Praça XV:
Image

The Arvoredo Isle - you can go on a boat, to watch the dolphins jump around you:
Image

Campeche Isle - you go seeing some rupestrian scriptures on the rocks (beside dinning and hovering on banana-boats - oh, and shark-free trips :D):
Image

Canas Fort - one of the few old buildings in this city. If you come to Brazil, don't come looking for old buildings, big cathedrals, and stuff. This country is not old enough to bear those stuff, which I find most unfortunate. I love Gothic architecture buildings, such as Millan Cathedral:

A link to a satellite photo showing the entire island:

Er, I think I got too much pics today. Sorry, I kinda overreacted. :oex:

Ok, so after I visit Stefan's pool, I'll be planning a trip to Brazil... :devious:

Nice pictures, but I am more interrested in those which have your sister on it. The lack of clothes is no problem either. :D

Here, one photo of hers. The blonde and the dark-haired are her friends. I think the blonde one has been graduating in Medicina. The other is psychologist.

Do any of them want to visit DC?

Truly, it looks wonderful there.

Juliana likes fancy places. If it's fancy, she'll go there. But I think she rather prefers going to France, Denmark or something like that.

Tell her to skip Denmark and go to Sweden instead. Much fancier ;)

Well, Romania is not the worst place either... I know at least two worse ones in Africa... ;|

France isn't fancy, but if she really wants to believe it, she's welcome :x
