You guys are seriously behind if you haven't seen Walking dead yet.

Game of thrones was fantastic. Lots of part to get people upset, but that's part of the story.

The impatience of youth... there's no expiration date on good television, I don't see what the rush is.

Season 1 is, they'll start filming s2 soon...

And it's based on a book series... so relax, it has an ending planned... as long as the author doesn't do a Robert Jordan (well he already went from 3 to more books, so he's half way there).

I hope HBO won't give up after 2-3 seasons. There's so much good stuff coming. I can't wait to see how a certain wedding party will turn out on screen...

I saw a wedding party between a Grecian-like warrior and a small blonde. Duels, killings, gangbangs, binge drinking ... that's my kind of party. :D

Glad that they picked the dwarf actor I was picturing in mind. However, I couldn't ever picture him with a blonde wig.

I have started reading the fourth book and now I'm stuck. Stuck always means when I'm reading a Sansa chapter. :drama:

The third book was awesome. The mentioned Red Wedding, the ending, Jon's chapters, Samwell's, Arya's...all Stark chapters were nice - except for Sansa's...

Something that's bugging me is this Thor's power. It so looks like Other's power, doesn't it? Not so spooky, but fairly odd.

I never understood why she was made a POV character. Even Rickon would have been more interesting. I hope things will be more interesting in book 4 (I haven't started yet).

A small spoiler here (or not):
Although I'm still reading the 340s page of the 4th book (pocket has 1000, I think), I got a glimpse of a further chapter named Alayne.

Reading one or two of Sansa's chapter in this fourth book brings me a feel that she'll become a strategic character, not vile, but she'll start playing smart under Petyr's mentoring (as far as she stays with him, given that the chapter named Alayne suggests that she's off by herself, or Brienne fetched her somehow).

Speaking of Brienne, this one also feels like shouldn't be a POV. But again, the plot is rolling towards Sam's father (Lord Randyll Tarly), so we may have some surprises soon enough. :) Most surprising of all, Cercei's chapter are those I most laugh of. She's so wicked! :devious:

I'm still curious about the Beric's group plot :?, which I don't know if it's going to show in this book, if that character will recover her POV chapters even now that she cannot speak, if it'll explain what's going to happen to those Thor kisses...

The fifth book is gonna be awesome, because it'll actually show what's happening to Bran and the Coldhands, Jon, Daenerys, probably Theon Greyjoy, Ser Davos, Tyrion...I presume it'll have the dwarf. He hasn't shown up so far. I also think that Arya and Sansa will make their appearances at the 5th book (so we may expect Brienne). The fourth book has many chapters with characters that are not central, filling in some gaps in the history. But all in all, women are the ones making the difference everywhere.

I'm cooling on the show, actually. Lots of violence, lots of sex scenes ... that's not enough. And the rest just seems like a soap opera intrigue set in the middle ages. :|

Good thing it wasn't for you then, but a response to Angelspit's post about future weddings.

Most of it is actually middle age type intrigue set in a fantasy middle age...

But yeah, the T&A is a bit childish, but what did you expect from americans?
