Life on Mars has just been cancelled in the States. It looked interesting, but a show at 10 PM is a bit late for me (I would fall asleep halfway through).
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

I'm sure the British (original) version was much better. And it was put after Lost... a tough act to follow :P

Great premise and more continuity than I expected. You know JW will put on a good show. So far, ED has been OK. I was not a big fan of Tru Calling, but Dollhouse should give her a chance to show more range. Seems like Sarah Conner has kicked it up a notch too. So good to have something to watch on a Friday.

Why would they bother cancelling Life on Mars? There are only two series; a total of 16 episodes.

Still watching Babylon 5. I find myself giggling and cheering over and over; there are so many great moments in this show. :)

JMS needs to make a new SF tv show... just for the ship design...

A chance that might go to waste, in my opinion. All her personalities seem to be one of those hip-talking tom boys that Whedon like so much, dressep-up in outfits that are not convenient for the job at hand. The only time I notice a change in character is when they "wake up" and look like they took a valium. I don't want to blame ED's acting skills, the writing could be in cause, but when your show plays with the concept of changing personalities, you better get yourself one heck of a good actor.
So good to have something to watch on a Friday.
Actually, I'd rather do something else on a Friday night, but that will do for now. :D

B5 of course.

@Vlaad
BSg is boring right now (and I don't talk about lack of shooting :P) - plot is not going any step futher - all is "reserved" for Le Grande Finale (and I hope they didn't screw it).
BTW - 3 episodes ;)

B5, no question. BC isn't too bad, though. Effects are better than in B5 since the show (at least the current one) is newer.

As far as I know, there are two episodes left - "Daybreak" parts 1 and 2.

BSG went too drama-ty around the 2nd season at the expense of actual story... and unlike Lost it hasn't actually made up for it by tying everything together in the end...

Two last episodes (or one 2h episode - don't remember exactly) will be aired 20th March.
I hope they reviel who actually give Adama note about 12 cylon models in mini-series (pilot).
But probably screenwriters forgot about this detail. :P

BSG is not B5 where screenwriter(s) known serial ending before 1st episode was filmed.

BSG = :vomit:

Okay, that's too harsh, but it was just a huge disappointment for me (watched the 1st season and beginning of 2nd, then quit).

Oh, OK, you meant the final episode is actually double-lenght.

There's also a TV movie coming this summer, but it will be set in the past.

Not sure I care about the Caprica show though...
