That's because your definition of cool is a powdered wig and an effeminate British accent. Or something along those lines.

Not mocking Hugh Laurie, I hope...? :| Anyway, if I knew anything about Enterprise, I might be able to comment further... but you have to admit, on the face of it the sentence "timetravelling Nazi aliens" really sounds like a C-movie...

But seriously, are they trying too hard? Or have they actually managed that near-impossible walk between silly and ingeniously funny? It's a fine line... many a show with great potential has fallen due to "creative" scripts..

Oh yeah, he's mocking him for mocking that stereotype in a comedy show...

It's not funny, at least if you mean "ha ha" funny. It's part of the overall story arch of the series.

The best show ever is Buffy, without a doubt!

Currently I don't watch much TV, but I tend to follow Terminator.

I started to doubt when I got to season 6, and realized the writers had no idea what to do with their characters.

Terminator is not bad, but last night I nearly felt asleep while listening to the character's philosophical questioning. A Terminator is about to attack a house, and Sarah is in the basement talking about bird houses. :|

Buffy was really, really good. Hard to say what was the best ever, though. Babylon V? Original Trek? M*A*S*H? Mystery Science Theater 3000? Twilight Zone? I Claudius? Monty Python? Each great in its own way.

Terminator SCC has been far better than it might have been. I'm glad Fox kept it in the same time slot. I've been watching Heroes, so I've missed Prison Break this year. But top it off with Boston Legal and you have the year's best evening of TV.

Looking forward to January -- Lost, 24, Damages, Burn Notice all coming back. Several other possibilities.

Just finished the last episode of True Blood. Not bad at all. Sort of like Twin Peaks meets Buffy. Not really something we haven't seen before as such, but presented in a new way, or at least an entertaining way.
