Needless to say, this thread is a shameless rip off of Elvin's Duel Map Tournament, so all the fame, fortune and scantily clad ladies go to him. :D The oldtimers will notice the concept is similar to the Tactician's Corner map, but this time with stack experience. Salamandre provided the script featuring the Dark Tower, a customized object where you can buy additional abilities for your creatures. He was also kind to test the map and do some additional tweaking.

The map could use some feedback (especially regarding starting heroes and balance issues), so feel free to post your suggestions here.

If there are enough people we could organize a small tournament, but even random 1vs1 duels are a lot of fun. :)

To play you'll need:
- WoG 3.58f (and no additional patches)
- the Duel Map (updated to v1.3)
- Hamachi 1.0.1.5

...and somebody to play with :D so join the wog_duel network (password is wog_duel) and ask for a game. :)

If you haven't played before, don't worry - just choose multiplayer > TCP/IP > host (or join) the game. Use Tab + your message + Enter to chat in-game.

No rules :D just a few tips:

- buy all creatures (Dungeon gets additional 21 Infernal Troglodytes from the Seer Hut and Necropolis can turn them into Skeleton Warriors) before opening Pandora's Box
- get all the bonuses
- visit the Dark Tower to change/get creature skills
- enter the portal and fight in the oasis on DAY ONE
