WoG Campaign Help

Unread postby The Mad Dragon » 08 Nov 2006, 17:15

Ok, I'm playing the campaign mode and I'm stuck as to what I am supposed to do. I can't attack anyone since I'm not strong enough, so I really have no idea what to do next.

Perhaps the walkthrough will be of some help. The first two missions are covered.

So how do I run away? It doesn't give me the option to. I go up to them, they say a couple of things then the battle begins.

Just starting out the campaign, I've collected all the resources in the area. I'm near where the Crusaders are. If I go up to them, they attack me. The walkthrough says to run away, but I don't see any run away option.

You are not the first one I help with exactly that :)

If you first go to the place where the crusaders tell you to wait, then you go and talk to the hero. Choose to tell him about the crusaders, then he will "leave" and a pikeman will be there instead. He will join you.
Then you go back to the place where the crusaders want you to wait, then you leave your peasant there and hide at your farming place... if you take wrong just try again. The crusaders will be with your peasant at the other farming place and then you can pass.

You are welcome :)

But if I go to the crusaders, they will attack me. So how do I get them to tell me to wait?

First go and talk to crusaders, then go and talk to knight (hero), then choose to tell about crusaders, then let 1 pikeman join you, then go and place peasant where I have marked red and hide at where I marked blue. Wait 1 day and then walk past where the crusaders stood.

Note. You have to pass in 1 day, next day they will be on place again B-)

That's the spot that you trip over.

So, I stay at that spot, end my turn, then the next turn, go to the crusaders?

No, first times you go there you'll see a text that says that your horse stumble and that's a bad omen... then you go and speak to the crusader ONE TIME (attack...). Then you go and speak the hero and he'll dissapair and a pikeman will stand there. He will join you. After that you go back and set your peasant at the place your horse "stumble" the red mark. After that you go and hide in your crop, blue mark. Wait one day and pass the place the crusaders stood. :tired:

So you are absolutely sure that they won't attack the first time I visit them?

And how do I place my peasant on that spot?

I am sure.

To leave a creature you right click on the map.

Right clicking.......why didnt' I think of this?

Ok so it looks like I'll have to restart the map and attempt this.

What if by chance, they happen to attack me on the first visit?
