When you make a 2-level map ('surface and subterranean'), and you WANT the underground map to be just a continuation of the surface map: e.g. surface map = South England, while the subterranean map = North England.
Now the PROBLEM is that on the underground (subterranean) map the combat terrain is always subterranean no matter how you paint the map (snow, grass, etc.). When I have made a 2-level map, e.g. North England as grass and snow, I would expect the combat terrain to be these too, as in the surface map!
HOW do I change the underground map's combat terrain to equal how I painted the map, like grass and snow, just like in the surface map?
Help please! Ive created an awesome Game of Thrones map!
How to change subterranean combat terrain

I remember this already being discussed. IIRC the answer was "you don't". Subterranean maps have specific issues with that. There's also the issue that all the terrain underground, no matter what it looks like, gives speed bonuses to Dungeon and nobody else. So the best way is not to use underground for non-underground locations.
