Rebalanced Creatures 2

Unread postby Beholder » 30 Sep 2009, 20:01

Finally, my rebalanced script is ready for release :)
I fixed some bugs and now it should be ok. Feel free to try it out and report any issues or bugs :) You can get it here

The main goal is to make experience bonusses give special sbilities rather than stats so elmost every creature is packed with abilities now. The instructions are inside in readme file. The script required 3.58f + script update but it should work with pure 3.58f

Also, change spaces in your URL to %20, so it would be clickable.

Because IMHO it`s better than original Rebalanced Creatures. If you don`t want to use it then don't - noone forces you to.

I guess m0sh wants to know what exactly are the differences between the original RC and this one.

Well like I said the script focues on creature abilites rather than stats, so fe. most creatures have 4-5 abilities gained through exp.

Some examples:
- wraiths have no retal and through exp gain chance to cast expert weakness, block all damage, chance to paralyze, reduce defence and dwarf type resistance
- ogres get chance to reflect some damage, cast mass blodlust before atack, chance for double damage, fearless, reduce defence, and chance for distrupting ray
- hydras get resistance to 1 lvl spells, mind spells, fear, fearless, regeneration, deflect damage and more retals
- inferno isn`t crappy anymore f.e. also creature costs are tweaked a bit (higher for fortress and stronghold AFAIR and lower for conflux)
