Yes, the counters vs counters levels are the most difficult. Quite the gem with hammers in wave 1 = lose.
And the black and white nymphs are particularly nasty for their level. Especially white because of the on-death ability and small blacks unable to deal with what follows. This round I managed with raven (cleanse 1) and cat (row dmg). Earlier I used (white) swan to cleanse all.

Really? I always use Ants on them, hit twice to get them down. I don't use a rezzer here.

Three times I got 3 blue hammers on wave one. Doesn't need to say that someone died there...

Actually, the hammers usually splat my ant in one shot :)

Also on levels 7 and 42. Strange 8|
Difference with last week is that I'm starting to use some silver enchants. But I don't see how that influences results..?? Teams are the same, mana/survivability is the same, overkill is still zero.

The dude usually does what, 530k+? I can't get how he does that. Maybe all gold enchants boosted and he grinds it until he has these overkills? Heh nutts.

Yeah, around 530k against Anubis. He's probably using a Gold enchanted mantis for that.

Archmage gives a lot less points. And there are no Overkill's at 51.
After my first bout I noticed I was only 3k below Slacker, so I gave it another shot.. :)

I'm on the edge of the 1% now. One away from 2%. Tomorrow, I'll try a bit more, because it's likely that I'll drop to 2% in the last push. I'll compare which level I'm most behind and start from there. :hoo: Anything BUT Quite the gem. That one I will not try again.

Edit: AAAAAAAAND IT'S GONE.

My 44 position was taken by that Punisher guy by measly 100 points. :disagree:

Nicely done! :-D
Should you try QtG again.. I tried several combinations and this team works best for me currently:
Image
Demon for emergency silence and pwr debuff
Ant that, if needed, can fire every round w/o losing mana. (Imp for feeding ant mostly)
Mask for high mend, resistance and dispel
Mantis for dancing around the yellow dolls

Oh, I tried QtG again, in spite of all, because it was the one with the most discreprancy from the highscores and I got 370k now. I had to restart a couple of times and I actually used a Yellow unit and only one Red. But the team had some similarities: Ant, Mask, Yellow one (which I really forgot already which one HOHOHO ), Bat and Alpha Dragoling. I had to do several attempts to get a proper ending with everyone healed. I think the Yellow one was Egghead or Butterfly, then the blue one would be another one. I really forgot. :(

I reached 6,697,000 points, more of less. That was all I could do as for now. But 2%. I need > 20k points to at least try to sneak into the 1% group ... but I really don't know where else I could wring points from.

The Dragonling was really good this time (perhaps not as good offensively as the mantis), because I had some red to fight against and Dragonling has very high defense and many yellow armors and shield appeard to fight. Dragonling also inflicts DoT, which detonated on its next attack.

Right now I'm brooding on a battle which each wave has a fixed color, one of which is the same as the boss one. I do think this battle can be tweaked for much greater score, and I'll try a little bit, just to check. Floor 25.

2% is still a great achievement.

On 25 I'm using Mask as healer (as in wave 1 you won't be able to fire much) and goblin vs yellow. 2 bees would be best vs blue I think.
For red I'm open to suggestions :)

Good one! I totally forgot that yellow might survive now kingdom is higher. Then Mask can be replaced by Otter

I used those multi-hits random units on 25. For red, the woodpecker one I have with 4 dots. 2 swoops and it killed all 5 green units. The team was Blue Fish (first red wave have only 3 units, so its special will hit all of them), Red Woodpecker, Green Mantis, Yellow Wildkin (bonus damage against bosses) and Butterfly or Egghead. I managed to increase around 7K on that one.
