Some new mods:

New Heroes for Duels (by Libertad)

Libertad has just finished his work on a brand new mod massively improving duels in H7.
Instead of 2 original heroes, you can enjoy duels with 6 heroes per faction - one per each class.
If you enjoyed H7 duels before as I did but you missed more possibilities from heroes to choose from, this mod is perfect for you.
Download the mod here: http://www.hommdb.com/mods/heroes7/a-ne ... y-libertad

New Arenas Mod (by Romansen)
Do you want to see even more combat maps in H7?
Try Romansen's new mod adding 10 new combat maps (available for duels and from the adventure map).
Download the mod here: http://www.hommdb.com/mods/heroes7/new-arenas-mod/

Scaled creatures (by Mr3LioN)
Are you disappointed with creatures scales as I am? Do you think some units should be bigger compared to each other?
Mr3LioN improved the scaling in his mod - for example, no more small dragons!
Download the mod here: http://www.hommdb.com/mods/heroes7/scaled-creatures/

[quote="Pol"]Unofficial 2.2.1 Modfix - download here.

I've already deinstalled H7, but the truly heroic efforts of guys like KKND21 are much appreciated. Give it another year, two years, surely someone will make a Heroes7.5 patch that includes our last faction, the Inferno guys?

In the meantime I am debating deinstalling H5.5. It's an awesome mod, but it has made the game a new game and is threatening to take away my time. Maybe I should get out before it gets too addictive!

This is the irony that I identified a few months ago when I publicly thanked Ubisoft for not making a game that is too addictive. It is possible to drop H7 and entirely stop playing it when it is a flawed game. I wonder if it is possible to stop gaming on H5.5 once I've started.

H7 is very addictive for me

Anyway, Inferno is not the last remaining faction. You forgot the most exciting one, amazing Sanctuary

You mean Ubisoft actually planned three expansions, one with dwarves, one with demons and one with Sanctuary?

Unfortunately I can't praise these guys. Seeing what they tried to do with Trial By Fire, that means Ubisxxt wanted to sell three more 'stand alone' expansions at full price, basically collecting 4x as much money.

Their greed knows no bounds.

I don't know their original plans, I'm speaking about Ashan World where 9 factions are.

I also liked Sanctuary, it reminded me Fortress from H3. Fitting and well implemented. :)

Let me test my knowledge of Heroes III and VI:

1) faction balance

Sanctuary is a balanced faction that works whether might or magic.
Fortress has crap magic and the only useful spell that you will ever learn at a Fortress mage guild is Teleport which you desperately need anyway.

2) attack type

Sanctuary has two solid ranged attackers and 5 are melee. You can play Sanctuary as a defensive faction guarding the ranged attackers, or you can go all out in attack because the kappa has high initiative and can leap far and the Kirin is fast and immune to movement restriction. High initiative on the kappa's part means a Sanctuary hero can often cast Tsunami before the enemy gets to move.
Fortress has 1 crap ranged unit, 4 melee, 2 flyers. They are not good at offensive attacks and always lose their flying units. Their main strength is outlasting other factions in battle. They are extremely vulnerable to mass slow.

You are not required to rush with Sanctuary and can take your time with it to build up your skills.
With Fortress, you have to rush the enemy. If not you will never get hold of higher level spells. Your Dragonflies are the fastest unit in early game, and your Wyverns are the strongest unit available from week 1. But from mid game onwards you fall behind in both speed and hp. Fortress is the third slowest faction after Stronghold and Academy, and its level 6 and 7 units have the lowest hp.

3) vulnerabilities and specials

Sanctuary is mainly water-based and vulnerable to air. Their attack types feature a lot of water/cold abilities.
Fortress has a higher chance of learning water magic, but apart from that they don't have any special affinity with water. Apart from the Greater Basilisk restricting others' movements via Petrification, there is nothing remotely similar to the Sanctuary faction's water-based abilities.

The second sentence, there's why. They both are. If you played campaigns for both of them you seen that, they are well-executed. That's what they share. Same level of care and passion from devs.

Yup it is good old HTML :D with some Jscripts and CSS.

Not so close... we are finishing with most assets but I need to copy/move all those in individual packages so mapmakers can start with creating campaign maps. I thought that map resize is possible from small to large easily in the editor but I was wrong :/ So now I have to do the tedious job of copying all assets from umap to upk.

Would there be any way to mod the game so that if a unit moves from a square while adjacent to an enemy unit the enemy unit gets a free attack on it each time?

Also is there any way to let players take all the items they find in each scenario on to every mission in a campaign?

I'm just linking this mod: https://www.moddb.com/mods/crm-content-restoration-mod
Honestly it feels like UCP. Modification supports English and Polish versions
