HELP. New to HOMM5. Second upgrade 2 creatures.

Hi,

I've recently purchased HOMM5 and the 2 expansion packs. Played it a bit and got confused..

At celestialheavens homepage i learned that creatures have 2 upgrades ! For example Firedragon upgrades to Magma Dragon and then to Lava Dragon.

But that looks as a feature not present in my HOMM5.

How do i get that second upgrade to my dwellings ?

In H5 you've only got the original set of upgrades. You'll find in Hammers of Fate that they came up with a set of alternate upgrades for the Haven units. It's not until Tribes of the East that you'll get to use the (slightly altered) Haven alternates, and the ones for the other towns too.
So it depends on which one you're playing.
