Tavern Information (Thieves Guild)

Sorry guys, I'm going to sound like a noob, but how are you supposed to read the thieves guild information? Is it first to third left to right? Why does it not give you more than three people even if there are 8 players? Is it just limited information? I know you can buy more for 250 gold, the thieves guild just looks quite useless.

Ok...you read it left to right, first to third, exactly as you thought.
It only gives the top three...that's the way it's always been. And, in my opinion, buying additional information is not worth it. Just go capture more towns and increase your info that way.

OK... I liked it better in HOMM 3. I just got ToE 3-4 months ago and am still getting used to it. Ubisoft screwed a lot up :-( Pity 3DO went out of business.

True, but in the end, they added a fair amount of stuff as well.

If you think ToE is bad, go play the original version unpatched. Now that was terrible!

I never buy information from the Tavern... costs too much to gain some valuable information

I actually loved thieves guild at heroes 3, so you could compare yourself with other players, it can give away if the opponent has a capitol or not aswell with mines etc.

thieves den and tavern information is useless in homm 5 imo, and it only gives away 3 slots so you can't really compare
