last fight some a-hole left me hanging in tactics mode, after he practically lost.

The online gaming world is filled with unfair players. I would be surprised if Ubi started banning them. And I'd rather not read a thread filled with ToH-style name-calling.

I play in toh.com and lrh.ro tournaments sites for a long long time. All I can say is that the community is pretty small but all players there are playing for fun. None of them would leave you in middle of a game. Of course we know each other very well...and so on...

Exactly... and this is why they should have marketed timed battles as a way to stop people from leaving you hanging in MP... it would prob make it way more used, even if the time allowed would be way more then normally needed (look at chess).

no srsly it sux, but that's where timed battles are for
and ofcourse to prevent people from playing with the dwarves
cuz they have to check all runes before making a move and so their turns take ages
