If this would be a poll, I'd vote for Klaus.

Klaus is nice with his ability...however,till i get paladins(or any other upgrade)
i dont use him that much
Vittio is really nice when he is about 15 lvl(ballista owns everything)
However my vote goes for Dougal,crossbowmans/marksmans rule with him.
An easy way to defeat your opponent

Dont angry the banana!
So Klaus is still effective even the jousting (ability or whatever it should be called) is reduced from 20% down to 5% (correct me if I'm wrong)? I just forgot on what patch it was applied.
Yes, I think he is effective but with training got controlled and that reduction that I had stated above then, he probably had lost some efficiency. But still I really don't know. Haven't checked the real figures.
Also with Dougal, I feel the same about the changes in training. And about Vittorio, haven't used him yet.

best haven hero?
Give me Vittorio any time! Once he gets Expert WarMachine, triple ballista, and flaming arrows the Ballista becomes awesome! I've seen it destroy 6 Magma Dragons per turn....
Ach wie schoen das niemand weiss....
It has to be Vittorio. He may start off a little weaker than Dougal, but increasing the damage of the Ballista by 1 with each level makes him lethal later on.
Amen to that! I was really lucky and was able to get the Ring of Machine Affinity. Four flaming shots from my Ballista with 15 Attack added on and I was going through 3/4 Devils with each shot! (Having the Dragon Tooth Crown to increase the machines' initative would've been brilliant)Sarvi wrote:Once he gets Expert WarMachines, triple ballista, and flaming arrows the Ballista becomes awesome! For Haven, I'd try to take Light and Dark whenever you can. Expert Mass Haste followed by Mass Slow can let you walk all over your opponent. Expert Mass Confusion is a godsend.
I never seem to get Vampirism (stupid Curse of the Netherworld!), though I imagine that combined with Unlimited Retaliation and Battle Rage (or whatever the special is) your Battle Griffins would be the bane of any hero without Cleansing!

Both is not always a good idea, maybe in an XXXL map For starters you'll need the mana to cast and secondly you need might skills to survive. Atm I feel that 3 might skills and a magic one are better to 2 magic/2 might.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.
