WOW. Those are some name changes.

Why is the Gold Dragon green? Who though Blade Jugglers was a good ideea? Does the Matron run a bordelo? Does anyone like Deep Dragon as a name? What's with the Rukh in the Rakshasa's upgrd's name? Is he Ukrainian?

EDIT: I see the Inquisitor was changer to Cleric. Good work Zalmoxis.

Is it just me,or do most unupgraded creatures look way better that upgraded one?

Finally,no inquisitor and horny succubus. And walking dead->zombie is still better than zombie->plague zombie.

But frightful nightmare? It just becomes worse with every change! :disagree:

A minotaur king? And as as slave no less! :disagree: :disagree:

And why is gold dragon of emerald colour? :disagree:

Haha!Rakshasa rukh :loll: :loll: Look at the second one!

Its ok that they want to speed up battle, but I think they went to far.Creatures have way to high damage compared with their HP.

It's not just you, they do look better unupgrd.

Poor bad dreams, can't seem to get a good name.

About the whole king thingy:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_Danio
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emperor_scorpion
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Snake
So it could just be the name of a minotaur subspecies. Been holding on to those links for some time now.

That's why i asked if he's Ukrainian!

I agree that the dmg need to come down, but the HP works for me.

BTW maybe we could use this thread instead?

I would have Emereald Dragons than Gold ones, Nival did show a sign of creativity by making a Emerald Dragon as upg but spoils it by returning to H3's Goldie

And this is probably why:

Posted by Valeriy at 08:10, 29 Jan 2006:
News Supression Pact Signed by Major HOMM Fan Sites

As of 2pm GMT today (Sunday 29th) administrators of the major Heroes of Might and Magic fan sites around the world have signed a News Suppression Pact in protest to a premature release of Heroes of Might and Magic 5.

The pact was signed by Age of Heroes (International), Archangel Castle (France), Behemoth's Lair (Poland), Castle Gobs (International), Celestial Heavens (International), Drachenwald (Germany), The Genie's Lamp (International), Guardian's Grove (International), Heroic Corner (Russia), La Torre de Marfil (Spain) and The Oracle League (International). All other HoMM websites are also invited to join this pact.

As representatives of the online HoMM Community, we, the pact members, strongly believe that Heroes of Might and Magic 5 will not be of sufficient standard and quality if the release is rushed for March 2006. As admirers of HoMM series and supporters of the current Heroes 5 potential, we will not tolerate a blow delivered by the release of an incomplete and unbalanced game.

As an action of protest, following this announcement, no news or updates will be posted on our web sites. Additionally, Heroes of Might and Magic 5 information will be removed from our web sites. We request that Ubisoft officially confirms that the release date of Heroes of Might and Magic 5 will be delayed past March 2006, for a period of time sufficient to develop a balanced and fully functional game. We do not regard the announcement made on Gamespot as true until Ubisoft issues official confirmation.

Well it's working now! The thing is that the info on CH is old anyway. Maybe when it goes back up again you could post the new names and everything.

I initially read the word as the one used for horses' hair, but now I know it's supposed to be pronounced as in Latin. It's nice! I like it. :)

now I'll finally read it.

oh and:

"A new arrangement of Inferno creatures, which sees many favourites return, albeit under different names. One of its main symbols, the Succubus, has returned to grace the ranks of the Inferno town, bringing with it some useful abilities. One sad exclusion from the town is the Pikeman, which has been with the town since Heroes I."

can someone tell them about the spelling error? I don't feel like signing up or anything at that site.

Spelling error? Copy-pasting error is more like it!
