I have younger brothers and we each have our own favorites... I can't get either of them to play HOMM with me anymore because I know the game very well. Also, I won't play WOW for the same reason.

Years ago, when HOMM2 and HOMM3 were new we could play...

But we usually ended up playing beam wars or some other shareware game on the MAC.

They are so spoiled by computer games... when I grew up it was 8-bit computer golf on an amber screen and Temple of Apshai (on an amber screen).

Make sure your friends aren't idiots... that should be enough.

I won against my brother and sister on Hotseat ONCE and they stop paying forever :P
Mr. Lativian this Thread is bound to Inspire many people
Heck reading it made me want to try to persuade them to play again :D
But I am still confused as to what Romanovs popular sexual act is

Though playing for money and trading for beer is a bit much lol
maybe not against family because everything is shared anyways so it'd be silly to trade real life object for game object
Money is a great motivation though actually!
Yes I love Gambling in games!
But I'm *that* good at heroes

Another doomed person
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Playing H5 "hotseat".....
I do that with my friend.... and mostly we play allied (team)
just download an user made map... and with a little "tweak" in the map editor woops it's an allied (team) map.... pretty easy.....
our latest map is Zandragar's Stratagem (an four player map)
I've made that an 2 vs. 2 one... and that map is Very good even the AI is good on this map and trust me I've played the most maps out there... :)
(I've also added "the boots of open road" at each starting town so you can play with all fraction without movement penalty....
(you'll find the map at CH's map page......), the one without my "tweak's"

Happy gaming.....

You should have seen two of my friends - brothers. Each were telling me that they pwned the other and that they had a great advantage in victories :-D I never really learnt who was telling the truth.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

the one who talks the less, the one who talks more is usually the one who want to "save face", IMO
