Iona for Haven
Dan Ar Braz for Sylvan
Steve Vai for Academy
Dr. John for Necropolis
Megadeth for Inferno :devious:
Dead Can Dance for Dungeon
The Pogues for Fortress

But mostly I keep the game's music ;)

One last attempt of posting a link to a valid download source

And if everything works properly, there it goes:

This is an example of what I mean by Island Folk Music http://www.uploadpower.com/en/download.php?id=AF1E33751

Much of the LOTR soundtrack works great for playing Haven.

Good thread. Since H2 I have always turned off the music and played my own CD's.

Metalheads FTW! Well, mostly i just let my WinAMP shuffle option decide what i listen, (And that reigns from classic rock to brutal death. It's all good, depending on your mood. Interestingly, my fav band currently is disturbed.) but what suits what race, is a different question.
Haven: Dragonforce, Edguy, Disturbed (Power + Prog + Metalcore)
Inferno: All Shall Perish, Death, Cannibal Corpse (Death-to-brutal death)
Necropolis: Therion, Evanescence, Theatre of Tragedy (Gothic metal)
Sylvan: Skyforger (a band from my country - http://www.skyforger.lv) Korpilkaani, Enigma (Folk metal + weird shit that every wiccan in my country loves_
Dungeon: Burzum, Impaled Nazarene, Dimmu Borgir (Black metal)
Academy: Placebo, Pink Floyd, Muse (Psychodelic rock. Psychodelic to extreme, i'd say)
Fortress: Jorn, Whitesnake, Manowar (Classic old-school hard&heavy)

Muse for the Academy? Interesting... City of Delusion perhaps?
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

I don't actualy. Just turn off all the game sounds, and let WinAmp do the rest. :)
