Now, that's quite an idea. Why don't they make pink unicorns instead ? All the other unicorns are white already.

The Dryad is a creature, that Pixie can never become. Like I said Nival is doing slapdash job with names (too).
But what a hell Im talking about, we have even sex-change operations in Heroes5, so ..

Jeeez guys cant you guys cheer up look bright on this, at least to be more patient with these new creatures? Its not FINAL you know!! Dammit. yes hmm the RBD looks oily, somewhat but a colorful breath can save its name. And I like its fuzzy loosk, looks it has been in the forest a while :P
And seriously chew on the meaning "It could be WORSE!"

I seriously hate t o read threads full of bashing all day long, no wonder games get bad critism :disagree:

Comment in a constructive way ;)

I perfectly agree with your post Orfin but what constructiveness can there be brought to this new innovation? I mean, they are names and they suck, period.

And another thing regarding constructive criticism.... if it would be taken into account, I'd consider doing it, but as they just don't give a damn no matter what we'd post, I guess no post is better that the other...

I hope not, but it seems you're quite right about that one criticism and all.

Well, position like "lets eat this sht, cause its better than that sht (or could be worse)" doesnt work for me, sorry.

Err.. Bad games..

So you dont agree that we have slapdash here (both names and visuals) ?

I for one like the new units. It is just what I believe the elves should be: wild (old upgrades) and mystical (new upgrades).

To Orffin:
What else did you except? This people would bash theme even if Ubival made something legendary good.
And not to forget to mention that they had utiopic ideas that new upgrades will look completely different. No developer would be stupid enough to make 42 completely new models. A waste of time for an expansion for any game.
I am back and ready to... ready to... post things.

I totally agree with Sauron and Orfinn there. I think the alt upgrades look nice, OK the names may be a bit awkward but I have a strong hunch these are not the definitive names of the creatures (a VERY STRONG hunch.)

Why Treant has this beard anyway ? It should be able to move and attack, not imitate humans.

I too like the alternates. Come on guys, everybody liked the Renegades and they are also just red painted haven units. It's the new abilities that make them diverse.

It's a very good line-up.
Hope the dungeon ones will look nice.
7 new abilities in just one faction - impresive! renegades only had 4 new abilities (no range penalty, cleave, battle frenzy & champion charge)
Where exactly does the rainbow end?

I think renegades were much better than this.

Some folks wanted the units to upgrade to some totally different creature unrelated to the base unit for some reason, like:

Pixie---> Rabid Mongoose
Blade Dancer---> Polar Bear
Hunter ---> Intelligent Elderberry bush
Druid ----> WereElephant
Unicorn ----> Ettin
Treant ---> Hill Giant
Green Dragon ----> Giant Purple Penguin

GOW
Frodo: "I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened."
Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
