I'm happy enough with most of the other factions that I see. This isn't to say that I wouldn't mind a few tweaks here & there but overall the basic factions with V1.41 doesn't look bad to me.

Anyone know what the difference between 1.41 and 1.5 is? I thought 1.41 was just a multiplayer fix and 1.5 would bring it up to all these changes.

While I do think this new Necromancy change is cool and all, I still don't agree with the adding of new stuff over fixing bugs that have existed since back in the closed beta. Fix everything first and then give us new stuff.

Frankly, I don't see people complaining for them to give us new material, but I sure as hell do see most people screaming for them to get around to fixing the problems.

For all of you necromancer out here here his some data on the new necromancy mechanics:
1)"Skeleton archers" was replaced by "Mark of the necromancer" (no other skill replace "MN" in the skill tree)

2) Dark Energy is restored in the beginning of the week.
3)The quantity of Dark energy is:
Base constant: 200
+for each Necromantic Amplifier: 150
+for Grail building :150
+For each Necromancer hero.
HeroLevel coeficient * 1 for basic
* 2 for advanced
* 3 for expert.
* 4 for Mastery.

4. Total_Dark Energy – is a limit for player, not his hero. It is like a resource.
5. After a Necromancer fights screen a window “Raising Dead” appears.
6. If a he has not enough Dark Energy the window will not appear(the first it happen a message saying the “you have not enough dark energy ”will appear)

8. Necromancers can raise not only skeletons but all other undead creatures.
9. The price of raised creature is in Dark Energy = Round(Creature_Power / 25)
10. Different creatures are raised as different undead, but always of fixed type.

Thanks! One question though,
Is the percentage of raised creatures tied to HP like previously was the case with Raising Skeletons or to the number of creatures?

Like will 20 Succubus (HP 20) raise vampires (HP 30) according to total Succubus HP (400) or the number of creatures 20?

Angels disappear from the bf when they die, so they cannot be raised.

Interesting that Unicorns can't be raised. I thought it was the Genies. I had a battle including Unicorns and Genies and thought it was the Genies that couldn't be raised.

Well disappearing and purity makes sense. How the f@#k do you get a dragon from a manticore? I didnt even notice that unicorns couldnt be rasied. Yea it would make sense for djinni/genies whatever couldnt be raised they do disappear after they die just like angels but I guess that would make academy a bit too necromancer resistant. Thx for the answers.

Well, at last Nival did something intresting. Of course that already was (except Dark Energy ) in H4 equilibris. (rising undead creatures depending on level of slain creatures, including Bone Dragons from "alive" Dragons) But its ok.

I realy hope to see "Line of sight" in H6

And now that necropolis is no more based on a legion of skeleton archers, is there any change in the undead's stats? because now its firepower is no more feared (Death Cloud makes crap damage), and the roles of some creatures have changed, so the faction seems more imbalanced and diffuse than ever.

This is exciting news. As a new convert to the necromancy, the possibilities here are endless...well, almost. :D

I believe hes refering to the issue people had before the release of the game, about how necropolises creatures having low stats making them crap to play. I figure theyre still going to be at least decently powerful if for no other reason than mark of the necromancer and raise dead. As I see it only 1 creature role that changed skeleton archers are now ranged support instead of your main damage dealers.
