savetheheroes petition - just a plot?

Unread postby Akul » 08 Jan 2007, 21:31

I don't know if this is true, but PcPlay in my country wrote that the petition was made by Ubi to increase his reputation with players. Don't know where they got that, but that magazine seem to be member of many communities.

What are your toughts about this?

One would think that just delaying the release would have been enough. Then again that might have irked ppl too. I guess it's not as much of " ncreased rep" as "not getting bad rep". word biatches

I had heard as much some time ago. I think even wikipedia mentions the suspicion but if it was it's for the best. Sneaky but in their place would you consider it or not?
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

I am not understanding the question. Is the Question "Did Ubisoft delay HoMM5 to get more publicity?"

Just curious as I seem to have missed the point. :(

Well then my lament is that they released the game with a busted AI and more bugs than windows 95. ;)

H5 was delayed before the ß-test.

But they needed more time. If it was a means to an end then they were idiots in not taking their time to fix H5 with the fans asking for it anyway. Even if it wasn't their doing they still shouldn't have allowed this to happen.
