With a very good story in the back, the high elves could be nice, but I think other races must come first.

Agreed. :D
They should create the Stronghold again (if only because the barbarians have existed since always :) )
Or...they could create the Fortress (h3 style...would have to have a different name though). Even though I personally don't like the h3 Fortress, I know a lot of people who do :D.
