I finally beat the third campaign, and I did it with how I normally do my usual build in the other HoMM games. YAY!

Ermm...I should say 3rd mission of the Inferno campaign.

Anyways, the usual build that I used to do, is build up to Castle, then build up forts, then concentrate on the creature dwellings. Well, since H5 goes by Level's, I had to modify it, so, I still start off building towards Castle, but now, to build up the levels, I included the forts and the creature dwellings, everything else, I ignore until all Castle, Fort and Creature dwellings are done.

Congratulations...now the 4th mission is even harder! but don't worry the 5th mission is a breeze and most of the dungeon campaign is not bad.

It gives me great satisfaction to beat a particularly tough campaign mission. Like in heroes 2 there was a Archibald side campaign mission where you had to take on all of these knights with very high defense and it was tough to kill all their troops. It was always very satisfying to win that mission.

No its not,its way easier. The 3rd mission of the 4th campaign on the other hand is harder.Oh,and heres a comforting thought for you:The mission you just passed was nerfed from the original. It was harder in 1.0 :devious:

That's when I played it 1.0 .... it was one of very few campaign missions I have had to redo, completed it on the third try, and it was a rush, rush, rush all the way! and once I had two castles (two sylvan ones) it was a breeze

Congrats, Mad Dragon. You sounded a bit, eh, irritated over the mission in other threads. :)

Personally, I suspect this mission will be the end of my shortlived HOMM-playing, as I think it is more frustrating then fun so far. We'll see, I'll give it another shot later today.

There are always cheats and single player maps and scenarios you can play before returning to the campaings.

How many threads we already have about The Mad One wrestling with that one map?

Go there
