What about the towns you conquered?
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

MD, I don't really recall Mission 3 from the Inferno Campaign, but can you post the approximate number of troops on both sides? Also, posting your Hero stats and key spells will be useful. Perhaps we can chalk out a strategy here :). Hang in there- 'cause the Sylvan campaign has a heck of a battle as well.

You can't honestly expect me to remember everything from that battle now?

I've restarted anyways.

I can testify against that. I made it through v1.3 Heroic with hardly any difficulties. It really isn't that bad - I mean, how hard does it get? I just barricaded the bottom Sylvan castle, pumped Master Hunters, defeated Gilraen when he showed up and then faced no more serious attacks from him.

It's really sad you didn't save the game. I, I save the game before every major battle.

1: I'm playing 1.4, not 1.3.

2: I save when I need to, or when I remember to, so don't say it's sad that I don't save.

there is really no need to autosave. quick (well, what Nival call it) saves are just enough before major battles. otherwise just normal save at some crucial checkpoints or every once in a while - first day of a week works for me.

I thought that the thing about winning with only raised troops was disabled in the patches.

1. 1.4 makes the map easier by tweaking the Wood costs.
2. Well what do you want me to say? That I'm happy you have to redo the map again?
