Is it worth it?

It's the most overpowered skill ever, but it's so difficult to get that I wouldn't try to achieve it. However, f you play on a large map with many Sylanna's Ancients (level-up trees) and possibly Witch Huts, trying to get Nature's Luck might be a good idea, IMO.

my opinion no.
it made you take defence - last stand which is bad skill and stand your groun which you don't need cos rangers allready have great defence...
other then that its good, and now dwarfs ultimate negate its effect.

I'd rank it second overpowered after the necromancer's one.

Well. No, I shouldn't have said overpowered. I just rank Nature's Luck second strongest.

If you play an ultimate necromancer, you might never have a chance to use your Nature's luck :) I've never tried though.

Come on guys! Nature's luck and call of urgash are the only ultimates worth pursuing.Though that's mostly because the requirements aren't too crazy and the skills are useful(well some abilities too :D ).
Let's take nature's luck:

Logistics->familiar ground
Class skill(15%) with abilities that can be worth it in the end.I probably wouldn't take them on my own,investing elsewhere ;)

Luck->dead man's curse
15% chance.Very good though I usually prefer resistance over deadman'sluck.

Defence->stand your ground
10% chance.I'd rather get the base abilities but if you modify your strategy it is worth it.Last stand ensures you'll usually have a unit to block shooters/steal retaliations since the last of the stack won't die the first time.Stand your ground... :devil: Just defend with ancient treants and watch them retaliate all its attackers.They will never die with 100% more def,feel free to add a few twists to the combo!

Attack->flaming arrows
2% chance.Still if you stick to upg your other skills eventually you'll get it ;| Battle frenzy+nature's wrath=crazy hunter damage.War dancers and sprites too but it's the hunters that really benefit.Flaming arrows is not bad too.

Evaluation:I'd normally not go for it but I would consider it if I got attack early.You must have tried it a few times,it's hard to get it if you don' use correctly your lvl ups and even then there is no guarantee.
But nature's luck is nature's luck! B-)
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Not really,because elves have higher initiative then your hero,so by the time you cast the howl youll already have less of an army.

Well. Again, it depens. I've never played such a situation, so all I can tell is based on how much I suffered even having -1 or -2 morale. So I guess -5 would be a disaster.

It completely ruins any battle planning, because you don't know when your soldies will or will not act.

I've got Attack and I'm wondering should I take the Battle Frenzy - Nature's Wrath - Flaming Arrows route? If I do that I'll miss out on archery. Is Flaming Arrows worth it?

yup.

I've used it in practice on several different maps.

it's like casting uber mass slow on your opponent.

actually combine it with mass slow, and you commonly can act 3 or 4 times to your opponent's 1.

it can be really nasty for fleshies.

anyone who wants to experiment with ultimates on single scenario maps might want to try out the mod i made so you can get them before level 20.

Not that much.The fire damage is 50 and it ignores enemy defence.Good thing is you have 15% attack and 30% knowledge so the damage modifier for a ranger's ballista isn't that bad but certainly not groundbreaking.

I would take archery. At least it's always with you as long as you has, whereas destroy ballista and forget about flaming arrows.
