HoF: How much have you completed so far?

Unread postby erased. over. out » 19 Nov 2006, 06:43

I have just finished the first campaign, and found it pretty entertaining. I really enjoyed the level designs and story (surprisingly) so far. I can't wait to start the Dwarf campaign now. I thought the Wolves were a good addition (their howl/pack attack is great) but seeing the Snow Ape in the new terrain would've been nice. The Manticores are well animated and are pretty powerful foes. I see that I am ranting on for quite a bit, so I'll end here. How much of HoF have you guys completed so far? :)

Edit: P.S. I forgot to mention the Renegade units, who kick some serious butt! Thoughts?

I'm about to start the dwarven campaign.
Frodo: "I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened."
Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."

I too have finish the Haven campaign and will move onward with the dwarves. The last map of Haven campaign took me about as much time I spent for previous 4 maps together.

Last map of dwarven campaign.

The storyline of Haven campaign is a bit disappointing, only the scripts make it interesting.

I haven't done anything more than install it. lol. I rarely play campaigns. And I have the Isles of Terra map in regular Heroes 5 that I want to finish first.

I was annoyed to see that all the new maps show under multiplayer, whether they are single or multiplayer maps. :/
