Crash when trying to buld a mage guild in Sylvan town

Unread postby mak » 08 Oct 2006, 12:55

Does anyone have/had same problem. Im unable to build mage guild over 3th level. The game just crashes to the desktop. And this only hapens in Sylvan town.
Tryed with all possible settings in the game and with different Ati drivers (official and Omega). Oh, and i have a fully patched game. (1.3)
My system is Athlon 2.4 GHz, 1GB RAM, Radeon 9800SE.

I just built mage guild 5 in a scenario.I don't see what the card would have to do but H5 is known to present some bugs on some while the rest are fine :ill:
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

I've done it on all sorts of maps with no problem. Have you tried to reinstall?

Yes, i tryed all basic moves (reinstall, diferent drivers, in-game settings, graphic card settings, directx reinstall). It s just funny, because i havent noticed anyone with the same problem, the rest of the game works fine, just this litlle bug.

BEST. BUG-FIX. EVER.

Too bad biological computing units can't be upgraded too.

Lol. But they can be upgraded, but it takes a lot of personal effort.

I am not rude, unlike some people around here.
I think a new computer solves the most problems. On my old one not even the Windows did run properly! Now, I got a brand new computer and all the superb new games can be played on it with great graphics! OMG, It is so great!!! You all should buy new computers! It is worth it!

@Shuyssar
Lets see...mak's specs are just slightly worse then mine,so thats not what his problem is.Read the recommended specs before you suggest something as dumb next time.

Dude, this pc is more than enough to run this game. If the problem would be in pc, i wouldn`t have a problem with just one small issue. I have a laptop with slower graphic and it runs fine there, of course slower, but still playable.

U can also try to close as many programs as possible before starting H5....

RAM? No RAM is just fine. For the record, all other games that i play (Richard Burns Rally, Warcraft) are running fine. Even Heroes V is running just fine, except for this litlle (weird) issue.

Well, you can always play without the patch. The only reason I can see this happening is because of the mods you use.If you dont, maybe its your profile that became corrupted.

Burning question I wanted to ask Shuyssar, how old are you?
