Slowdowns when spells are cast

Slowdowns when spells are cast

Hello,

When I cast some spells during a battle, the game slowdowns, but the weird thing is that it depends on the spell and on the moment I cast it.

For instance, during a battle I used Eldritch Arrow on Mages, I had some slowdowns during the spell effect but on the next battle, I used Eldritch Arrow and I had no slowdowns...

Some spells slowdowns the game each time (fireball for instance).

Does anyone have this problem ? Is there any solution ? :(

My specs : Ati Mobility Radeon x700, High settings, res 1280x800. Lowering the settings does not change anything.

You might want to mention which patch you're using...slowdowns were very common with pre 1.3 patches.

I think there was something about having to modify some value somewhere to stop that a while back. Anyone recall in what thread?
