I don't see this as any better than providing the actual link.
I foresee a moderated and locked thread coming this way.

in their response they said they deleted it because osting a link on the forum was equivocal to them supporting the leaked beta. if they delete this then they will only be deleting my opinion towards file sharing.

Apologies

Unread postby Bobo_Minky » 26 Aug 2006, 16:44

I would just like to apologise for causing any trouble. I did not think that a link to the leaked beta map editor would be a problem since the map editor is meant to be a part of the game to begin with (it will be available for free as well once ubisoft release it). So i did not think it was akin to piracy ( i own an original copy of heroes 5 - you can check my registered account at ubisoft). Anyway again my apologies i wont do anything like that again on these forums.

It's no problem if it happens once; anyone can make a mistake.

The way some people continues making a specific mistake is another matter.

I would just like to clarify something:

The reason we don't want this here, is not so much that we don't think everyone should have the editor (we too want it as soon as possible), but this is a Beta version and there's always a risk using those. There are good reasons why they are not meant for the public.

Celestial Heavens is a fan site dedicated to helping the fans any way possible, and we don't think assisting in the leaking of material that was never meant to be official is the best way to do it.

Hope that cleared it up for everyone.
