Re: Windowed Mode
I don't think so. They recommend you not run anything else when you play it, so it's unlikely. But I do not know for sure.Marine OKeefe wrote:Is it possible to run HoMM V in Windowed mode?

Call me a noob, and I don't know if this will help, but I only recently discovered that if you press the "Windows" key on the keyboard, heroes is minimised and you have the desk top available.
I find it ideal for msn / yahoo when the other person takes a while to answer, also for accessing the wonderful HV manual I have downloaded but not printed out

We will either find a way, or we will make one. Emperor Hannibal.

Its not windowed mode though, its just not fullscreen. There is a huge difference. Thanks for the suggestion though.juventas wrote:You have to run it at a resolution smaller than your desktop resolution. It will run in windowed mode, but it won't show the windows menu bar at the top. You still have to press Alt+Tab to get to your other windows.
