Don't be intimadated, and don't think that I'm some lazy that wants you to test something for him - if it happens you know the answer to some of the questions - great.

Is the formula for luck/morale known, and what is the max/min luck/morale that you can have?

What is the chance for shield bash (squires and footmen)?

What is the chance for Unicorn's blind and what are it's properties (I heard that it's SP8, so 2 turns?)?

Formula for explosion damage of horned overseers?

Nightmare's Fear chance?

Fireshield damage of Fire Elementals?

Does archangels' ressurection equal 100 hp per archangel?

Warding arrow chance?

How does retribution work?

How does Banshee/Benedection hero special work?

Damage formula for ballista (and for Iron Maiden specialty)?

Heal formula for First Aid Tent (concerning the skill and specialty)?

How does Spellwringer work (chances)?

Coven Mistress special?

Poison Master special?

Catalyst special (how does reduction scale)?

Spell twister chance and functioning?

Morale and luck are capped at 5. My guess is the it is 5% per point of morale/luck.
What is the chance for Unicorn's blind and what are it's properties (I heard that it's SP8, so 2 turns?)?
The spellpower is 8, but I don't know what the chance is.
Warding arrow chance?
Not sure but I think it's 10% per shot.
Poison Master special?
Probability:10% + 1% per level. I don't know about the damage it inflicts.
Catalyst special (how does reduction scale)?
Reduces:10% + 2% per level.
Spell twister chance and functioning?
Probability: 40% + 2% per level.
If the enemy's spell is deflected then there is a chance (40% + 2% per level) that the spell will be deflected towards an enemy unit instead of your units.

Note: Data was taken from the defaultstats.xdb in the gamemechanics folder of the patch 1.1 p0-data.pak file.

damage = 9 + 9 * SP

SP= trunc(9,12*ln(1+stack_size/15))-1 if outcome < 1 then SP = 1. (this eq MAY give some 1 point difference at certain stack sizes. cannot test them all)

Fire elemental fireshield: melee attacker takes damage equal to 20% of the damage he deals.

Well you must have great insight because I have only conluded small amount of info by myself, for. ex. luck and morale caps. (and that's why necro ultimate gives -6 morale :devil: )

In a multiplayer, hotseat map it is relatively easy to test this stuff.

1) Make all players human
2) Choose the faction(s) needed for the test(s) (whether for hero type, creature type, or magic school type).
3) Have the players cooperate to get all resources available to acquire buildings needed for test items.
4) after building everything up, save.
5) run controlled experiments with whatever hero/creature/skill/spell combinations you want!

In my experience, it's been capped to 5.

Don't worry, I am not that kind of a person who just sits and waits for the answers, I have checked it, but the descriptions are totaly vague and do not state any of the questions I asked (I am not asking for descriptions, but how does something work mathematicaly, if someone knows).

Anyone knows about Retribution? I've read on another forum that it looked like a +X/2 to your min and max damage, where X is the creature's morale modifier, but i have taken it twice now and i don't see the damage increase on the creature's info in combat. Also, the damage i inflict seems to be consistent with the written info (that is, it doesn't include Retribution's bonus).
Anyone has a clue ?

From what I can tell, +5% damage per point of morale.
How does Banshee/Benedection hero special work?
Morale and Luck increase/reduction increased to 2, duration is increased based on hero level.
Damage formula for ballista (and for Iron Maiden specialty)?
I think it's 1 - 2/hero level without War machines, 2 - 4/hero level for Basic War Machines, 2 - 5/hero level for Advanced War Machines, and 5/hero level for Expert War Machines. There seems to be a bit of extra damage in there but I don't know how that's calculated, I think there's a damage bonus every 5 levels or so. For Iron Maiden, it's just the Fireball spell at expert level with 2 spell power + 1 spell power/4 hero levels.
Heal formula for First Aid Tent (concerning the skill and specialty)?
10 - no War Machines skill
25 - Basic War Machines
50 - Advanced War Machines
100 - Expert War Machines

Its actually -1 to morale and luck for banshee,and - 10% to initiative.Benediction gives +2 to morale and luck,but I dont know how much it gives to initiative.Its probably 10% as well.
