picked #3, although i dont really "miss it terribly." i really do think it should be in the game, and that the gme would never really be complete without it, and that it is a very high priority item to be included in the expansions, but i could wait until the expansion to see it. i dont think the game would do very well without snow, even though i doubt it would really affect sales, but i dont see it as a nessesity to be included in the next patch to come out. i can wait.

Funny, from the subject, I was thinking about weather effects in battle. Hmmmm, I wonder if that battlefield's a moddable 3d model of some sort.

Hmm, snow would be good, but its hardly critical, especially as its not a race specialty any more for 'tower'.

A lot of things aren't "critical" to the game, but for me each missing feature has a cumulative effect. So last option for me.

There are more other features that I miss way more then snow(like kingdom overvieq or sleep button).

Voted #2... And I'm sure it'll return in the expansion.

How bloody hard would it be to put it in? That's why I voted the last one.

Guess we should be glad the creatures don't all have the same skin. I mean it wouldn't really affect gameplay, would it.

Personally I'm fine without the snow. Any extra terrains would be nice of course but snow I'm not bothered about. And thats snow joke.

Hmm..maybe there will be mountain/snowy terrain coming with expansion, with let say Dwarven Castle? Remember, in Disciples2 dwarfs had snowy terrain.

Not for the computer, but it would really slow down mp while people moused over every model trying to work out what they were.

Snow would be a lot harder to impliment than a sleep button. (Although you can turn that warning off... a sleep button would have a lot more utility).

It would also be a lot more time consuming to impliment than say... team mp maps... I can live without snow indeffinetly. I'd rather they spent the time on more maps than making new textures for the maps. At least until I have enough maps to play that I get tired of looking at the textures on them rather than the layout.

I voted for the third one. I always liked the snowy terrains, and I think we're missing out with it not being in Heroes V. It would be so pretty in this game...

There may be snow in potentia in the gamefiles, but no-one has reported seeing ingame snow as far as I have seen. So for now there is no snow terrain.

there is *some* snow textures in the game, remember that old topic? but theres not enough, like, there arent even any snow trees or something like that.

theyre just being greedy and saving everything for an expansion to beef up the expansion features list, so far:

- 2 New factions!!!
- Snow Terrain!!!
- 5 more artifacts!111
- 3 new heroes!
- 20 new spells!!!
- 6 more monsters! all with 777 stats because theyre meant to be lucky!!!!11

and so on
