There are 2 ultimates: Ultimate Skill, which is the 4th level of the racial skill and requires that Pendant artifact, and the Ultimate Ability, which is that thing in the middle of the skill wheel, that you can only reach by taking certain skills and abilities.

Got it, thanks for the clarification...

I never go for ultimate ability, I pick skills based around an idea for a hero whether it be a magic resistance type guy or an archer type guy...the skill wheel helps though.

Why are hero stats refered to as Primary Skills anyway? Wouldn't Hero Stats or just Stats work better?

Do you like the word "stat - statistic" in a fantasy game or a book?
Well I don't.

and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes into you."
Friedrich Nietzsche

"How long can any man fight the darkness before he finds it in himself." - Sounds familiar? :D

As opossed to Skill?

Then how about Attributes? Or Abilities? Or Traits?

Attributes sounds the best, imo, since it is something thats inherint, and gained on birth(although it is improved by practicing).

It can't be abilities cause its somewhere in H5 already. Traits sound like Fallout to me :D. Attributes sounds much better

does ultimate skill really helps? I found it not to be so useful unless for necromancers...

And academy, if it actually works lol.

Otherwise it just seems to be 5% to the power for all factions except academy. Something with such "mastery" proves to be a little boost at best.

Actually its not that usefull for a necro.5% more skeletons is not that much. You could acumulate maybe an extra 200 this way.Nothing in comparison to 2000 youll have regulary. But for academy, sylvan and inferno it can be quite a boost.Gating devils, having 4 extra stats with an artefact,or another favoured enemy is great.

Wait, I thought the academy hero ultimate just made creating artifacts cost less. Or does it do both?

Edit - According to skill wheel, it reduces the cost to create artifacts by half.

I only used it for knights and necromancers... so I don't know it would be this useful for the wizards...
