The town was really expensive. It had some very good units: Air Elementals (the strongest 2nd level?), Ice Elementals were quite good, and of course Psychic/Magic and Firebird/Phoenix were are also quite strong. Conflux has the greatest Grail Structure - gives all spells. Nevertheless Sprites, Fire/Energy and Earth/Magma are tragicaly weak...

Well I didn't use them very often. And, although it is logical, it's frustrating that some spells have double effect on some elemetals...

So, the possibility arises of a serpent/sea faction, eh? Most interesting...

It's probably more than a bit too early to start guessing what creatures it contains, but when has that ever stopped anyone? ;)

Lvl 1: Nixie/Naiad
Lvl 2: Lizardman/Lizard Warrior
Lvl 3: Serpent Fly/Coatl
Lvl 4: Medusa Acolyte/Medusa Priestess
Lvl 5: Sea Serpent/Basilisk
Lvl 6: Naga/Naga Queen
Lvl 7: Kraken/Leviathan

And a Dwarven-style Stronghold? If it's true, I am aquiver with anticipation. :)

The expansion pack will probably have the dwarven faction, then?

Most probably.

Oh, and a note, I've put my dwarven town on the official forums. Let's see what Ubi will do.

The problem with the dwarven faction would be that the mythological creatures are not going to be connected with each other.

For example, the Necropolis faction consists of all of the undead creatures. Inferno has all of the demons. And now, the Dungeons faction is somewhat uninteresting because they have the Dark Elves and some other random creatures that make sense to belong in there only because of the lore of the 5th HoMM. Minoutars and elves... just dont fit.

So yeah, hope you understand what im talking about.

You mean the lore of Forgotten Realms. The Drow have Minotaur slaves among many other races. If it works in D&D...

Dont know much about D&D. But from what i played in the computer games, never saw any minotour slaves. Minotours live on the ground in D&D, me thinks.

And the golem idea sounds good. Although the Academy already took that.

Hmmm, maybe the dwarves should be something like technologists.

I think I read this before, and I liked it. One thing thoug: the Behemoths don't really seem to fit so well. All the other units are centered on the theme of animation or the dwarven skills, and suddenly the 7th level creature is tamed. :|

You got the idea done well. However, i think that it lacks true mythological beasts. The behemonth doesnt really fit in to it either.

Also, i still think that dwarves should be something like magical-technologists. See example: gremlins.

The naga factions sounds crappy. Nagas, in my opinion, are not powerful eneugh to deserve a faction.

Well since mountians dont have that much wildlife and one of the few wild animals are behemoths, why not? I guess mountain goats are the behemoths source of food. :devious:

They are as strong as the in-game universe defines them.

I wouldn't mind a Naga faction as long as we get the Orcs.

I wouldnt mind any race as long as they have absolutely no more humans and elves.
