What exactly are the joys of the deluxe edition? What does it include?
I'm hesitant to buy the game (it will be out on friday here in Denmark) because of all the bugs I just read about here on the forums. I don't know how to change the settings of the game to "low" and "no eye candy" so that it might work on my computer. Any help?

Lol Minmaster, you may have to change your avatar... they say that the Inquisitor got a weird helmet. I wonder what was wrong with the bald guy (who's still featured in the main menu animation)

Did you notice that his helmet have been knocked off and lies at the ground? ;)

I ordered from Ubi 'cos I thought they were the only ones to offer the limited edition. This IS distinct from the deluxe, isn't it...? Coin and packaging and all?

I hope it will be worth it! I ordered it just after playing the demo which frankly knocked my socks off, got a mad rush of blood to the head you see. Heroes 1 was almost the first PC game I played (Ultima 8 was the very first...) and I reckon Nival, despite going with a lousy generic Warcraft story and cheesy in-game cinematics, have done a brilliant job.

So no-one knows when Ubi will be shipping? I just assumed it'd be around May 23rd, but now I'm hoping sooner!

Cheers.

I got mine today. :-D (Would have been yesterday if not for some trouble with the post office. o_o) Dunno if it works yet; that will have to wait until I get home from work (late tonight -_-), or possibly tomorrow if I’m too tired.

Oy, Gaidal! Have you gotten your copy yet?

Back on topic, I'm still looking around... I don't think my computer will like HoMM V so I'll wait a little longer.

I don't mind though. This way I can work on my HoMM IV projects a little longer :-D

Hmm, was hoping for more maps but the rest sounds good. And how much more expensive then?
