I also died a lot for that Goblins, and that after experienced much with MM7. I guess I wasn't prepared for the level of difficulty presented so soon in MM6. ^^

Seeing barrel in last screenshots, was wondering.
Recently checked out mm6 that came along with mm X . Noticed that barrels give +1 stat rather than 2. Is it patch thing or version is different?

Edit: Now that i think about it , it seems to not have flip on exit feature as well. Pretty sure mm6 I played years ago turned me 180 deg when I exited.
