Dynasty Weapon Testimonies

Unread postby maltz » 21 Dec 2011, 18:57

Don't want to sneak in the ability testimony thread - so here comes a new one. Please feel free to provide your own experiences with Dynasty Weapons and why you recommend them to others.

May I start with a couple:

Arache (Might)

Obtained from Necropolis Mission 1. Its low level abilities are great, but the best one comes at level 4 (3.5M exp) - 15% Life Drain to all friendly stacks as a passive ability. Currently (patch 1.2), it is still bugged to often drain more than 1000% of the damage you deal, making it a cheap "I win" weapon of choice for a Might hero. ;|

However, even after the bug is fixed, 15% of drainage still means a lot. Think of the mana you save as a Might hero (to cast Mass Life Drain). Note that the Counterstrike III ability actually works against Life Drain, since you prefer to be attacked first then drain the damage back in the same turn.

At level 5 (7M exp) the weapon also offers an 3X3 area ability to slow down enemies that can be useful once in a while.

Life drain is uselss against undead. So it is a very good idea to switch to the next weapon -

Blade of Binding (Might)

Obtained from Inferno Mission 4. At merely level 3 (1M exp), it enables the free summoning of a large number of Jaggernauts (tier-6 Inferno, works for other heroes, too) that can last forever in the early part of a mission, where a Might hero is particularly vulnerable (with a small army). Think of it as the FREE summon earth elemental for a magic hero.
