Stupid question, I know, but who is it depicted kneeling with her sword? Irina? And what's that sea monster thingy? I don't remember such a creature in the game.

The girl is Irina. The sea monster is actually not a Kirin, but Hay Ruyo, the Dragon Eel avatar of Shalassa.

Yeah, a Kirin and Irina.

I just completed the second mission, had to load several times to make different moves as the enemy heroes were pretty strong and aggressive. I'm playing on easy difficulty and it definitely doesn't feel like it. 8| A newcomer or less experienced player would definitely be put off from continuing.

It actually looks more similar to Hai Ryou in the way that it has eel-like shape, the only similarity with Kirin is horn, but Kirin has legs. Besides, it makes more sense for the scene to be Irina talking to Dragon Eel, because that is a more important part of the campaign's story.

It's a Sacred Kirin, not the Dragon Eel.

We better ask Marzhin about that, if you haven't done that already, of course.

It's Sacred Kirin and this picture probably represents Irina meeting with Kirin in second map of her campaign.

Dragon Eel doesn't have legs.

Thanks for the tip.

And yeah, I also wonder how that could've been up for debate :@
