No, the developers weren't to blame for the announcement, but Ubi sure is. It's their baby and they should know how far along the game is and if it's even close to being done before giving out a date that is far too ambitious.

Oh for crying out loud...

Znork played the game like over a month ago, and if any of you paid attention to SC2 or Diablo3's development you'd know that any demo they let fans play with is an old build they spend at least a few weeks to make a small part of playable...

So that's at least a 2 month old build... plenty of time for polish and crunch time.

Obviously not enough though...

Hmm terrorist, now there's an idea ... maybe it should be possible to destroy mines? :devious:

Mhm, special resources make a comeback, and you could convert a sulfur mine to an ore pit. :D

Well of course it did, would also work with 1 resource (not with none, C&C4 proved that)... problem is that we liked it just fine with 7...

cnc4 failed in a lot more, it's not just the lack of resources. CnC3 had like no resource management either

I don't see where anyone claimed any different. And even if i would like the gameplay it has, it's simply not C&C in any way, shape or form... should have been a new IP (or at least not a main C&C series game, but another spin off in another timeline/universe), too bad they're cowards...

Mirez wrote:CnC3 had like no resource management either
Huh?! You sure you're not confusing it with RA3's "put a building next to the gold extractor" thing? Because as i recall TibWars had the old C&C resource gathering model.
