Bosses

Unread postby ecsunotos » 11 Feb 2011, 10:40

Just Curious 'bout the bosses :
We've already had :
- Namtaru which connected to Necro,
- Michael connected to Haven,
- Giant Blue Dragon Eel that could be connected to Naga (?)

Will bosses conected to each faction ? Any information 'bout it ?

I think it's obvious that when this Dragon Eel is an incarnation of the Dragon god of water, we'll see the other incarnations to.

So we'll have a Shadow Dragon for Malassa, a Fire Dragon for Arkath, a Light Dragon for Elrath and so on.

What 'bout Namtaru and Michael ? Are they bosses ? Are they connected to a faction ?

Isn't Michael the archangel who's resurrection is supposed to nearly restart an old war that we hear about in the beginning?

I hope that after you kill each dragon god they never return and everything about their history and existence is erased from HOMM and then we get a story that doesn't suck.

Go dragons...

That does seem to be the design philosophy, doesn't it...

If you've seen the Artwork where the Haven hero is knighted, you'll see Michael at the right. He belongs to Haven, if I remember right he uses the humans to fulfil his vengeance.

And Mother Namtaru is the Spider mommy. You know, the big one. Incarnation of Asha and stuff. So she belongs to Necropolis. Isn't that obvious ?

The bosses are just bigger versions than some factions' champion units? I'd rather fight Neidhaart's cactus as a boss. THOUSAND NEEDLE BLAST!

Yes, sometimes the bosses seem a bit lacking in imagination.

I doubt that will be the case for all bosses; and we do not yet know how many bosses there will be. Anyways, the boss does look different... just look 'em up and you'll notice the difference.

Just wondering which will be the other bosses. I vote for the Giant Mutated Whale!
Grah!

Except that the dragons and devils and other former lvl 7 units aren't in the town line up any more, they're just bosses now.

Ha, peasant... no matter how many there are one can always counter them with Vampires or H2 Ghosts...

If i remember correctly dragons were unkillable no matter numbers by them in original KB. H2 gohsts were either neutral mobs or cheating in hands of player.
